42" Tailored Cut Waistcoat in Black Merino Melton

A Tailored Cut waistcoat in a superb black pure merino melton by AW Hainsworth in size 42". A deep black in a sumptuously soft pure merino wool flannel. A warmer weight textile, this fabric has a magnificent handle. 

Made up with a Nehru Collar, Black Corozo buttons and lined in pure cotton ticking.

The Maker

This cloth has been in Yorkshire by the wonderful AW Hainsworth who have been busy weaving cloth since 1783. Best known (perhaps) for clothing royalty and the military for full-dress ceremonial occasions, their cloth has embellished and enriched the furnishings of palaces across the world for centuries.
