A Tailored Cut waistcoat in a delicious green-gold melton by AW Hainsworth – an eye-catching and highly unusual colour, in a sumptuously soft pure merino wool flannel. A warmer weight textile, this fabric has a magnificent handle and a bright rich colouring. 

This outer is available to order in sizes 36" to 54", with any of our collar types.

Our Merino Melton waistcoats are lined in ticking as standard. Alternatively, we would suggest an eye-catching Navy Viscose or a sumptuous silk in Navy. 

A viscose lining will add £10 to the listed price, a silk lining will add £30.

Outside we suggest a Light Cornu button for this outer, as shown in the pictures.

The Maker

This outer has been woven carefully in Yorkshire by the wonderful AW Hainsworth who have been busy weaving cloth since 1783. Best known (perhaps) for clothing royalty and dressing the military for full-dress ceremonial occasions, their cloth has embellished and enriched the furnishings of palaces across the world for centuries.
