Classic Cut Waistcoat in Petrol Blue Merino Melton

A Classic Cut waistcoat in a deep petrol blue pure merino melton by AW Hainsworth. This unusual and eye-catching colour is made up in a sumptuously soft pure merino wool flannel. A warmer weight textile, the fabric has a magnificent handle and a bright rich colouring. 

This outer is available to order in 36" to 54", with any of our collar types.

Our Merino Melton waistcoats are lined in ticking as standard. Alternatively, we would suggest an eye-catching Fawn Viscose or a sumptuous silk in Hazel. You you are free to choose from our full range of linings which you can see on the Linings page. If you are selecting an alternative to the lining we have put forward, please advise us of your choice in the comments at checkout.

A Viscose Lining will add £10 to your order. A silk lining will add £30 to your order.

We use a Blue Corozo button for this outer, as shown in the pictures. 

Customising your Waistcoat

Custom sizing, button and lining choices should be added when you reach the cart.

The photographs show our Classic Cut with a Low Nehru collar made up in Petrol Blue Merino Melton. We have used a Fawn Viscose lining and Blue Corozo buttons.

The Maker

This cloth has been in Yorkshire by the wonderful AW Hainsworth who have been busy weaving cloth since 1783. Best known (perhaps) for clothing royalty and the military for full-dress ceremonial occasions, their cloth has embellished and enriched the furnishings of palaces across the world for centuries.

Shipping

Made to Order waistcoats are delivered within three weeks of ordering. We use a sign for Next Day Service with Tracking. Shipping is free on orders over £400.
