38" Classic Cut Waistcoat in Mid Blue Merino

A classic cut waistcoat in a mid blue blue by AW Hainsworth – a wonderful and bright colour in a sumptuously soft pure merino wool flannel. A warmer weight textile, this fabric has a magnificent handle and a bright rich colouring. 

Lined in limited edition striped silk, with a mandarin collar and flat horn buttons.

The Maker

This outer has been woven carefully in Yorkshire by the wonderful AW Hainsworth who have been busy weaving cloth since 1783. Best known (perhaps) for clothing royalty and dressing the military for full-dress ceremonial occasions, their cloth has embellished and enriched the furnishings of palaces across the world for centuries.
